Calculate reconstitution and injection volumes for peptides.
Concentration (mcg/mL) = Peptide amount (mcg) / Water volume (mL). Injection volume (mL) = Desired dose / Concentration. For U-100 insulin syringes: multiply mL × 100 for units (tick marks). Example: 5 mg peptide + 2 mL water = 2500 mcg/mL. For 250 mcg dose: 0.1 mL = 10 units. Use bacteriostatic water for multi-use vials.
